Garlic bread
Everyone loves garlic bread. Well, nearly everyone.

Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 110 g butter, softened
- 1 baguette or French bread, cut lengthwise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley (or use frozen)
- 25 g grated Parmesan
Procedure
- Preheat oven to 220°C (200ºC fan) and line a large baking tray with foil. Make garlic compound butter: In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, salt, and parsley until well combined. This is easiest if you first mash the garlic with salt in your vijzel.
- Spread cut sides of bread liberally with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake until bread is toasty and golden at the edges, about 10 minutes.
