Thai Lime Vinaigrette
The basic vinaigrette of Southeast Asia is perfect as a dipping sauce and for tossing with salads or cooked vegetables.
Ingredients
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar, or a natural sweetener
- 1 crushed dried red Thai chili, or ½ teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
- 1 large garlic clove, crushed
Procedure
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients, whisking until well blending.
- Leave for 15 minutes at room temperature before serving.
