Baked caramel apples

Procedure

  1. Using a paring knife, cut around the stem of the apples and down around the core. Scoop out the stem and seeds, leaving the bottom of each apple intact.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the caramel sauce and almonds. Fill the apples with the mixture.
  3. Pour the water into the inner pot. Spray the trivet with cooking spray and insert it in the pot.
  4. Place the apples on the prepared trivet. Secure the lid.
  5. Select Pressure Cook or Manual, set the pressure to High, and set the time to 10 minutes.
  6. When cooking is complete, let the pressure release naturally. Unlock and remove the lid.
  7. Carefully remove the trivet and the apples, and serve warm
