Ingredients
- 4 Granny Smith apples
- ¼ cup Chocolate-Caramel Sauce or store-bought caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped roasted almonds
- 1 cup water
- Nonstick cooking spray
Procedure
- Using a paring knife, cut around the stem of the apples and down around the core. Scoop out the stem and seeds, leaving the bottom of each apple intact.
- In a small bowl, combine the caramel sauce and almonds. Fill the apples with the mixture.
- Pour the water into the inner pot. Spray the trivet with cooking spray and insert it in the pot.
- Place the apples on the prepared trivet. Secure the lid.
- Select Pressure Cook or Manual, set the pressure to High, and set the time to 10 minutes.
- When cooking is complete, let the pressure release naturally. Unlock and remove the lid.
- Carefully remove the trivet and the apples, and serve warm
